Abi Holmes

Hi, my name is Abi and I look forward to meeting you. I love living in Cornwall and am constantly thankful that I do. My life flows between solitude and quiet to noisy manicness (!) depending on which of my children are home at the time.

My favourite things are people, nature, animals, food, a good book and a glass of wine - oh and a good bike ride to chunter through my stuff!

I am a believer of (and qualified in) person centred counselling. I am constantly in awe of your journeys through the process and the courage and strength and answers you find from it. I believe you are the expert of your own life and will not direct you.

However, should you require a slightly more directive approach, I have some DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy) experience which works on the premise that two opinions can be right at the same time. This can be useful when looking at relationships or understanding emotions and behaviours.

I am happy to work with whoever you are and on anything you choose. If you don't feel a connection with me, please try another of our counsellors.
